Adair County Public Library District Reviews

From: John Clemente | submitted: Mar 28, 2013
I recently visited this library to use the computer. I was made aware that there was a 45 minute time limit. I assumed this limit would be extended if there wasn't any other patrons awaiting use. After my time ended I asked for an extension and was told by library staff that the 45 minute limit was per day and it did not matter if others were not waiting. I still cannot believe this happened. I am a taxpayer living in Adair County. The library although a private contract is still funded by my and your tax payer dollars. I would like someone to address this issue as it is appalling to me that I was denied the use of library equipment that I helped to fund. I understand this time limit practice when others are waiting but the library was near empty at this time.
